My wool applique addiction began way back in 2000. I stitched penny rugs and other wool appliqué items using patterns from other designers back then. After working many years for a quilt show vendor, stitching wool samples for her shows, I eventually started to design my own things and selling the finished items on Ebay. That led to officially starting my pattern business in 2009.
My husband is retired now so he’s able to help me with the business. He’s in charge of packaging the patterns, keeping inventory, and driving the orders to the local post office. My husband and I have been married for 45 years and for 44 of those years, we have lived in our country home, just outside the small town of New Brighton, Pa. We have 2 daughters, 2 terrific son-in-laws and 1 very adorable grandson.
I’m in business because I love what I do. It’s the only reason why. It’s not about the $$.
My greatest thrill is helping a new customer become addicted to wool. It’s my reward.
I do monthly quiet, private giveaways. If you’re a customer, no entries are required for a chance and no public announcements are made. Winners are selected sometimes randomly and sometimes not so randomly. I do it because I love what I do.
